Matched by Ally Condie-Review (1-8-13)

Not a big fan of dystopian books, but read this for book club, trying to expand my horizons and get away from the same old genre's. But as my favorite saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
It's been an interesting read following these 3 main characters in this new world when your mate is chosen for you and is no choice of your own. How far would you go to have true love that isn't chosen for you? Cassia is soon on a mission to show us, as she sets out to find Ky with the help of Xander..her Match! Still haven't decided to read the rest of the series..it's TBD:)

Fated- Review (12-31-12)

Fated was just okay for me. I'm not a big fan of the underworld. I gave it a shot. Just not for me. I'm not sure yet if I wanna continue the series. Well written, good story line. I just like a little more romance.

Poison Princess Review (1-6-13)

I've surprised myself again, this is not my type of book, but was so glad to read it. Post apocalyptic books aren't my cup of tea, but for some reason I couldn't put this one down. A good mixture of romance and action. Evie and Jackson, total opposites and both trying to save the other(so to speak). Well written and I also loved the audio version as well. It gave it a little "extra" hearing the voices, the excitement, the disappointment and sadness that you can't really grasp by just reading the words. Well done and now can't wait for book two. (My first book read for 2013)

Tainted Blood! Oh My!

I took my sweet time reading (this well not really)lol..I think subconsciously I didn't want to finish it. I have to say,each one of these books just keeps on getting better! There were so many things in this book, I didn't see coming (and I'm usually pretty good at that) Joann took us somewhere in Tainted Blood, that I honestly didn't think she'd go..but she did! Without spoiling it for others, let's just say, be prepared to be amazed, shocked, hurt, surprised and happy..But in the end the biggest emotion you'll feel is the love..

Laney and Oliver's love is deep and intense..but will Carter get in the way of that, or is their someone else lurking in the shadows? If  you haven't read The Brookehaven Vampires, Laney and Darkness..I say, what the heck are you waiting for?! Hop to it people! Thank you Joann for another amazing book and I look forward to the next :)

I bit my lip. Of course I wouldn’t have shared that gem of information with him if I didn’t want to see him again, but I hated that he realized this.
