Well done..as usual. Rachel Caine just keeps bringing the surprises. I couldn't put it down and couldn't read fast enough to see what happened next. With a new threat in town, to both vampires and humans, they had no choice but to join forces to take this "thing" that is called Draug out of existence. Is it really over for them? Or just the beginning of something new with "The Queen" will things go back to "normal" or will there be yet another fight on their hands? All I can say is, I can't wait to see! Love this series! One of my favorites. It was good to see Claire mature and kick butt again..who else is gonna protect her man Shane? And so happy for Michael and Eve. Wonder what myrnin will be up to next? Gotta love him! Great read! Up next...Bitter Blood!

Beautiful Darkness (review 1-27-13)

Another great read..I thought we lost Lena for sure and I guess in some ways we have. That remains to be seen in book 3. I'm excited to see what is next for Ridley and Link. One with powers and one without..my how the tables have turned. Lila and Macon? Or Amma and Macon? Who knew...Now on to Beautiful Chaos!

Vicious Little Darlings-Review (1-13-13)

I have to say this did remind me of PLL for the most part. I wanted to slap the crap out of Sarah and tell her to wake up and see what's in front of her! These two chics got issues! It had me to the point where I couldn't put it down in the hopes Sarah would get a clue and break free from Maddy and Agnes. Will she? Won't she? All I know is with friends like that, who needs enemies? A good read all in all. Look at me expanding my horizons :)

Finale (Hush Hush Saga) Review-(1-21-13)

Okay, either it's me or this was a bit slow moving at first (think it was just me) it took me forever to finally read it and once I picked it up again(after months of it sitting..I'm so ashamed) I flew through it! Love Patch and Nora's story. I am a little shocked how Finale ended and surely didn't see it coming. I laughed and cried through this series and it's bittersweet to see it end. Thanks Becca for writing such an awesome series and look forward to more of your writing.

Beautiful Creatures-Review (1-19-13)

Though it was a smidge slow in the beginning, it did suck me in after a while. I love the setting In the South. The magic and love in this book is awesome! Ethan and Lena make an amazing team. It's obvious they make a great couple, but what makes them strong is how they work together as a team, even though they think it's not smart at times. The downside to this book, is just a little too much of the battle between the North and South, but I see why it was necessary. Great read and now l'll be moving on to book 2!

Can You Keep A Secret- Review (1-15-13)

Hysterical! Love her humor and just when you don't think there's a message in this book..well there is. Secrets can set your free or confine you..guess it depends on the secret..lol
Way to go Jack and Emma. In a way when jack spills all Emma's secrets, he kinda opened her eyes to a whole new her..of course she didn't see that coming :) good audio/read!

Not a big fan of dystopian books, but read this for book club, trying to expand my horizons and get away from the same old genre's. But as my favorite saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
It's been an interesting read following these 3 main characters in this new world when your mate is chosen for you and is no choice of your own. How far would you go to have true love that isn't chosen for you? Cassia is soon on a mission to show us, as she sets out to find Ky with the help of Xander..her Match! Still haven't decided to read the rest of the series..it's TBD:)
